Reviews of The Best Trampolines Around

Reviewing The Top Trampolines For 2019

Jumping on a mini trampoline is one of the easiest ways to have fun while staying indoors. All you have to do is set up your mini trampoline (also referred to as a rebounder) in an open area in your home – or outside if you prefer – and simply jump till your heart’s content. You can even jump on a rebounder while watching TV if you wish – just make sure to watch out for that sneaky ceiling fan!

Besides being an easy way to have fun, working out with a rebounder is also one of the best forms of exercise. It can be used for losing weight, building muscle (mainly core and legs) and even to improve your cardiovascular and respiratory system. Exercising on a rebounder also brings along with it a variety of other health benefits as well, such as boosting the immune system (while simultaneously detoxifying the body), increasing bone mass and even strengthening every cell in your body.

In addition, jumping on a rebounder is a much safer form of exercise for your knees and other joints compared to that of running on a hard surface. This is because the bounce of a trampoline absorbs most of the pressure that would otherwise be placed on your body.

Mini Trampoline Reviews

Now that you know some of the benefits of owning a mini trampoline, let’s get straight to the reviews below so you can find the best model that’ll fit your needs and current situation.

JumpSport Model 220 Fitness Trampoline JumpSport Model 220 Fitness Trampoline Check out Price and Reviews on Amazon

The JumpSport Model 220 is one of the best mini trampolines you can buy for working out. Instead of using the typical metal spring design that you find on most rebounders, the Model 220 utilizes EnduroLast 2 elastic cords. This makes the bounce of this rebounder much softer than normal, which is great for anyone who has bad knees or stiff joints.

Important Specifications:

  • 39” black powder coated frame
  • 25” jumping surface (not including skirt)
  • 30 EnduroLast 2 cords
  • Arched legs provide better stability
  • Basic workout DVD included
  • Virtually silent bounce
  • Skirted mat
  • Weight limit of 250lbs

Jumping on this rebounder is also possible at all hours of the day since the elastic cords make virtually no noise when you jump (unlike squeaky metal springs). The only downside of the Model 220 is that you’re basically forced to jump in place (only 25” of jumping surface). Luckily, there are many other sizes available (Model 200 to Model 570 PRO) depending on your needs and price range.

Stamina 36-Inch Folding Trampoline

Stamina 36 TrampolineCheck out Price and Reviews on Amazon

If you want a rebounder like the Model 220 from JumpSport (but don’t want to spend that kind of money) then you may want to check out the 36-Inch folding trampoline from Stamina. While this rebounder may be nowhere near the Model 220 in terms of quality, it does use a similar type of resistance band instead of the typical coiled metal spring.

Important Specifications:

  • 36” foldable steel frame
  • 6 detachable rubber-tipped legs
  • 30 (2” wide) resistance bands
  • Durable polypropylene mat
  • Safety pad included
  • Weight limit of 250lbs

Another cool feature of this rebounder from Stamina is that it’s foldable, making it suitable to store away somewhere such as in a closer or duffel bag. The only problem with this feature is that it can take a while (and a little strength) to fully disassemble. However, it is nice to be able to fold it away if absolutely necessary, and for the price – you really can’t go wrong with this mini trampoline.

Sunny Health & Fitness 40″ Foldable Trampoline with Bar Sunny Health Trampoline With Bar

Check out Price and Reviews on Amazon

This 40″ foldable trampoline from Sunny Health and Fitness comes included with an adjustable stability bar to further ensure your safety. This stability bar can be adjusted to any one of the three heights (40, 45 and 50 inches), making it perfect for people of all ages.

Important Specifications:

  • 40” foldable steel frame
  • 6 detachable rubber-tipped legs
  • 32 metal springs
  • Adjustable stability bar (40, 45 and 50 inches)
  • Polyethylene mat
  • Weight limit of 250lbs

This mini trampoline is also foldable as well, but once again it may require a little bit of strength and patience to do so. In addition, because this rebounder does use metal springs, it is a little louder than the previous two models. However, some do prefer the type of bounce that metal springs provide. Because of this, you may want to find somewhere that carries both types of rebounders so you can test them out and see which type you prefer.

Urban Rebounder Trampoline with Stabilizing Bar Urban Rebounder

Check out Price and Reviews on Amazon

If you want a high quality rebounder for working out, but don’t want to spend a ton of money on one of those specialty brands, then we recommend you check out the Urban Rebounder trampoline with stabilizing bar.

While this may not be the cheapest mini trampoline around, it’s a lot better than most models you’ll typically find at a cheaper price range.  In fact, this mini trampoline is so effective for working out that it’s actually used in gyms and health clubs all over the world.

Important Specifications:

  • 40” foldable steel frame (folds twice for better storage)
  • 6 foldable rubber tipped legs
  • 36 tapered jumbo springs
  • Elevated legs for more intense workout
  • Stability bar
  • Rebecca Kennedy workout DVD (6 full workouts)
  • Weight limit of 300lbs

One of the main features that makes this unit from Urban Rebounder so great for exercising is the elevated legs that come included with it. These elevated legs give you the option of titling the trampoline at a 22° angle – making it possible to try many new different types of exercises that you wouldn’t normally be able too.

A workout DVD from Rebecca Kennedy is also included with this rebounder to teach you some of these exercises, as well as a stability bar to help keep you safely on the mat. The stability bar can also be used to help you work out as well, just be careful as it can be a little wobbly.

Which Rebounder Should You Buy?

Before you go ahead and purchase a rebounder for your home, you first need to decide what you’re going to use it for. If you just want a trampoline to jump on when you’re bored, then get something affordable such as the 36” model from Stamina or the 40” model from Sunny Health and Fitness.

On the other hand, if you want a mini trampoline to exercise with on a regular basis , then you would be better off getting the JumpSport Model 220 or the Urban Rebounder. This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t exercise with one of the cheaper models, just don’t expect the same kind of bounce and quality you would get from a much more expensive rebounder.

Now, if you still need help on deciding which mini trampoline is best for you and your home, we recommend you take your time and read other trampoline reviews online. This way you’ll be able to see exactly what other people think of these same rebounders, as well as check out other models that you may be interested in. We also have reviews of backyard trampolines as well so go check those out if you think a bigger model may more your style.
